"HTC amazes wtih an INCREDIBLE phone . . AGAIN"
Reviewed by Cellular Chloe, on May 24, 2011
The HTC Incredible 2 is a updated version of first generation Incredible and I can comfortably say that it has improved! The Incredible 2 is a tad larger than the first one. It has a nice soft textured backing with a simplistic design with nice curves. It is a light phone and fits in a hand nicely
The screen of the Incredible 2 is larger coming in at 4" with a Super LCD Display instead of the AMOLED. It gives off a sharp image even when outside and holding the phone at different viewing angles. When you change the orientation of the phone, the capacitive Android buttons rotate as well. (How INCREDIBLE is that . . . makes easy navigation)
Testing its guts was no easy task for the Incredible 2 and it exceeded expectations. The phone did not falter when having the active/live wallpaper, numerous apps running, and switching between each app.
The phone is now equipped with awesome “Scene" modes which allow for huge amounts of personalization. During the week, you can choose your “Work Scene". As soon as happy hour starts on Friday, switch over to “Weekend Scene". If you are an avid traveler, you could even have a “Travel Scene" in which all your apps are tailored to easy and smooth travel. There are 7 home screen in which you can fill up with widgets and apps in each scene.
Camera is great with 8MP rear facing and 1.3MP front facing. The pictures are crisp and clear. The video is fantastic too.
Pros:
Bright and Brilllant Super LCD Display
Fast and Stable platform
Battery Life
Excellent Personalization
Global ready
Cons:
Not a “High-End” smartphone anymore
Not 4G – great competition
