Broadband USB760 Customers Reviews

"Works great love it!"

Reviewed by Jillian, on November 16, 2011
Pros:
Works with my laptop - the Samsung hotspot kept dropping the connection

Cons:
It would be nice if the light was on the back so you did not see it out of the corner of your eye all the time.

I love the fact that there is no way any one can "jump" the connection as it is directly into the computer.

Pros:
Quite powerful reciever. I live in California and travel south to Los Angeles and north to San Francisco. I am yet to find a dead spot without 3g coverage. mall, versitile and simple to set up and use. Mini memory card slot built into modem for added data storage or use as system ram with usb 2.0 connection.

Cons:
Prepaid service, (no contract), is considered and treated as second class customer. No web site registration etc. Prepaid plans are a bit pricey and user rules disallow p2p and other file share activity. Full bars recieving and broadcasting needed to have delayless streaming video. Antenna port connection is rare type and accessory antenna is a bit hard to find also..

I have been pleasantly surprised with the usb 760, made by novatel wireless company, for verizon. It's a usb mini modem that plugs into your usb slot and gives instant wireless internet access. When your device is at optimum contact,...

"A handy device for peeps w/o wired service available."

Reviewed by -GT-RCraig33, on March 29, 2011
Pros:
Easy to set up, easy to use and relatively quick service. I can surf the web just about anywhere. I use the internet as a source of information, so it's good to have it available "on the go". I chose this perticular device for the mere fact that it does not require a 2 year contract to use. I play video games on line, (race driver grid), and no problems have been detected.

Cons:
Streaming video is stop and start action. It also consumes a large amount of alloted usage. I require the largest available usage package, (monthly), of 5gb, which amounts to eighty dollars a month.

The usb760 has been very convenient to use. Just be sure your monthly budget can afford eighty bucks for service. The usb760 will serve your needs much better when you have a strong signal. This usuall requires a usb extension...

Simple setup and easy to use

Cons:
Slower than dial up and no coverage in my area.

No coverage in my area. Slow when service is available. Easy to use and setup.
