2016 Wireless Zone® Charity Golf Tournament
On behalf of the Wireless Zone Foundation For Giving®, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your participation in our annual Golf Tournament. With your support, we were able to raise over $70,000 in funds that will benefit local charities and organizations in our local communities.
At this year’s tournament, we gave a warm welcome to a speaker from one of our local grantees in Old Lyme, Connecticut; High Hopes Therapeutic Riding. This organization has been around for 41 years helping individuals with physical, emotional, and developmental disabilities improve their bodies, minds and spirits through therapeutic riding and programs.
Grant money raised through your generous contributions to our Foundation are key to keeping programs like High Hopes sustainable and attainable to the patrons in need of its services. These inspiring stories are told and repeated many times over across the country and are only possible because of you.
Thank you again for your thoughtfulness, generosity, and continued support. Be sure to check out photos here, and make sure to Save the Date for next year’s tournament on June 15th, 2017.
The Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving® was founded in 2003 after identifying a need and desire to give back to our communities. Today we raise a significant amount of money and support a large number of local charities and causes through our almost 400 retail locations. We also have national partners – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Autism Speaks New England, Feeding America, Children’s Tumor Foundation and Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania.
The Foundation provides a structure for this collaborative giving program and offers grants to charitable organizations from donations by Wireless Zone® franchisees, employees and friends. The grants are given to support programs and organizations dedicated to improving the communities in which we operate and live.
